About Us

A New Season and a Shared Calling

God has been weaving Tyrone and Grace's stories together for years, two completely different lives, one redeeming Savior.

Tyrone grew up in the streets of Baltimore, surrounded by addiction, violence, and loss. By thirteen, he was selling drugs and chasing things that only left him empty. Burying friends, losing his father to overdose, and witnessing the depths of darkness became his normal. But Jesus stepped in and changed everything. He gave Tyrone purpose and a reason to live.

Grace grew up in a home where Jesus was truly the center of everything, and she chose that path for herself at fifteen. For the past fourteen years, she has lived in Baltimore. While her story doesn’t include firsthand experiences with drug addiction, partying, or broken relationships, nearly everyone around her lived through those realities. She was always surrounded by outcasts and misfits. Choosing Jesus when no one else around her did made her an outcast and misfit, too.

Now, God has brought them together. Two different stories, one mission. As they step into marriage, they’re not just building a home; they’re building a ministry. Their desire is for their lives to be a light in the dark, a living reminder that Jesus still saves, still heals, and still redeems.

Our Mission in Baltimore

Baltimore is a hard city, beautiful, broken, and desperate for hope. But this is where God has called Tyrone and Grace to be. Together, they serve as full-time missionaries at Hope City Church and Hope City Christian Academy in Baltimore, MD., pouring into the lives of the next generation. Tyrone serves as a Hope City Church kids’ ministry leader, worship team member, and founder of He’s Him- a Christian clothing brand that shares the gospel beyond the classroom and church walls. Grace serves as the Worship Pastor, and Associate Children’s Pastor at Hope City Church. Tyrone and Grace are the primary teachers at Hope City Christian Academy for grades kindergarten through fifth where they get to help children from deeply traumatic backgrounds. Their goal for the children they teach goes beyond academia; their goal is to walk with each child and help them discover healing, hope, and identity in Jesus.

It’s not easy work—it’s gritty, real, and often heavy—but it’s holy. Every day, they get to watch God’s light break through the darkest corners of our city, one child, one family, one heart at a time.

Partner With Us

Why We Need Partners

Everything we do in ministry, teaching, mentoring, leading worship, and reaching the people of Baltimore is entirely done by faith. As Hope City Missionaries, we aren’t paid for our work; we raise our own support to be here. Every lesson taught, every child prayed for, every outreach we lead happens because of people who choose to stand with us.

As we step into marriage and plan our life together, we’re trusting God to provide through monthly partners like you who believe in what He’s doing in this city. Your monthly financial support helps us continue serving full-time while building a strong, Christ-centered foundation for our future. It allows us to stay on the ground in Baltimore, where light and love are needed most, and to pour into the lives of the next generation.

Every gift, no matter the amount, matters. It’s not just helping us, it’s helping change lives and push back darkness with the hope of Jesus.

With love and gratitude,
Tyrone & Grace
